In order to participate in any AAU Taekwondo event, not just New Jersey events, you MUST have an AAU Membership. This does not only apply to athletes but coaches and officials need to have a membership as well.

To become an AAU Member follow the link below and click on the "Membership" tab. From there, you will have two different options on how to join. Whether you are an an Athlete that will be competing at the event, youth or adult, or an Non-Athlete meaning a coach or an official. Scroll down to see a screen grab of the two choices that will be presented on the website!​

*Important Notes*

• Memberships run from September 1st through August 31st. They must be renewed each year.

• Similar to a birth certificate, driver's license, or any form of identification, however you enter your name for your membership will be how it needs to be entered when registering for tournaments as the AAU Database will search for your Membership that way.

• If you are registering your child for an athlete membership, be sure to enter their information in when enrolling.​
